Intention and Format
The intention of the Sunday Gatherings is to practice mindfulness together, to share experience of our practice,and to investigate skillful means for using mindfulness-based strategies and techniques for managing the challenges of life, that result in a mindful approach of responding vs reacting to situations.
We usually base our sessions around a theme. It might be investigation of a mindfulness teacher, or an attitude of mindfulness or a skill such as mindful speaking and listening and include a series of practices – mindful movement, a reflective practice, group sharing on the experience of the practices, and a closing poem.
Sunday Gathering Agreements
The intention is to create an open and respectful environment in which members of our community can feel safe to sharing experience. We ask that you reflect on these carefully and bring mindful awareness of these intentions to all interactions.

Description
The 1.25 hour class features a “peak pose” as a focus, which allows the participants to practice through a series of preparatory poses. The classes incorporate mindful cueing that invites inquiry and curiosity, as well as other mindful attitudes into the practice. The 8-week series is scaffolded to both focus on particular areas in the body, as well as provide an overall gentle stretch and tone experience.
This style of yoga encourages mindful conscious movement according to the needs and abilities of each individual body. Appropriate for beginners and experienced alike.Monthly Mindful Evenings
Monthly Mindful Evenings with Franca & Julia
Join us for an enriching and rejuvenating evening of mindfulness practices to nurture your mind, body, and soul. Our experienced facilitators, Franca and Julia, will guide you through activities to help you embrace the present moment, reduce stress, and foster self-awareness and self-compassion.
Date: First Wednesday of the Month ONLINE (October 2, 2024 – May 7, 2025)
Time: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Oct 2, Nov 6, Dec 4, 2024 | Jan 8, Feb 5, Mar 5, Apr 9, May 7, 2025) *Q&A: 15-min, following session

Fee: $150 for 8 sessions

- Opportunity for Q & A’s: Engage in a meaningful dialogue as Franca and Julia address your questions about mindfulness and well-being.
