Learn how to facilitate the SMART program with applications in educational, community, and organizational settings.
The Mindful Edge (Stress Reduction & Life Strategies for Teens and Young Adults) Teacher Training Program is composed of 1.5-hour themed lessons, in 3 units. The Overall Program Goal is Resilience, developing the skills for being with the ups and downs in life. Learn to teach the multi-session program in high school, post-secondary, community, and counseling settings.
Mindful Yoga Teacher Training is a dual certification program in mindful yoga & mindfulness which is suitable for implementation in education & community settings. Recommended for mindfulness facilitators.
The Mindful Yoga Teacher Training (MYTT) consists of 150 hours in-class supervised teaching sessions, 70 hours of self-study and home practice, as well as 10 hours devoted to an independent study project pertaining to your own specialized area of interest to be presented at the end of the course.
Teaching Mindfulness to Teens is an introductory workshop, which is part of the Applied Specialization in Mindfulness Meditation Certification at the University of Toronto Continuing Studies, that will help you understand the skill set required to teach teens.
The 12-hour course is delivered online in 3-hour sessions, including the core elements of mindfulness training, practical applications, curriculum connections, neuroscience research, customized lesson plans and adaptations for different populations.
Learn how to teach and facilitate mindfulness groups, with a trauma-senstive, EDI awareness for those those who are have a mindfulness practice and want to learn how to run groups.
The 12 hour course includes the evidence-based approach by Jon Kabat-Zinn, incorporating MBSR, MSC, Emotional Literacy, Mindful Movement, and Positive Psychology and focuses on on guiding practice, delivering engaging didactic information, and facilitating meaningful inquiry.
