Stress Reduction Program, founded by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn

Mindfulness-based Self-Compassion Guided Meditations and Exercises

Chris Germer, Mindful Self-Compassion and Psychotherapy

Chris Germer is a clinical psychologist, meditation practitioner, author, and teacher of mindfulness and compassion in psychotherapy and everyday life. Co-developer of the Mindful Self-Compassion training program.
Free downloadable meidations for personal use, intended to guide you through the first phase of mindful self-compassion training. The meditations are primarily instructional in nature and briefer than most meditation sessions.

Residential retreats ranging from two days to seven days. True North Insight is dedicated to offering affordable rates to all. Retreat fees are on a sliding scale basis that allows participants to pay according to individual means. Fees do not include compensation for the teachings, and teachers rely on the generosity of retreatants for a sustainable income. There is an opportunity to offer dana (donations) to the teachers at the end of each retreat. The deposit is included in all of our fees.

The Insight Meditation Society's Retreat Center first opened its doors over 30 years ago, providing meditation instruction based on the teachings of the Buddha.
