The Mindful Edge for Teens (13-19) 4-Session Workshop Waitlist

FREE Online course that combines the practices of mindfulness with knowledge of brain science, positive psychology, movement and healthy living skills to create a program that benefits teens socially, emotionally, physically and academically. We will learn and practice together as we embark on this compassionate journey within a community of self-care and support.

4-Week Session Overview
1. What is Stress?
2. What is Mindfulness?
3. Paying Attention to Body and Breath
4. What is the Neuroscience of Mindfulness?

Note: This course is live streamed in real time over ZOOM. The sessions will not be available at other times. It is a requirement of the course that cameras be turned on to build a greater sense of community during session, as if it were an in-person meeting.
(Accomodations can be made upon request - contact your facilitator for exceptions if needed)

A certificate of participation &/or community service hours will be given at the end of the program for those who
1. have their cameras on.
2. participate using the chat function during the program.
3. provide brief feedback on the workshop at the end.
